Power Lines -Donot locateanoutsideantenna system in thevicinityofoverheadpowerlinesor other electric rightor power circuits,orwhereitcan fallintosuchpower linesor circuits.Wheninstallinganoutsideantenna system, use extreme care to keep from touching such power linesor circuits.ascontact with themmight befatal. 14. Outdoor Antenna Grounding - If an outside antenna or cable systemisconnected to thisunit, besure the antennaor cablesystemisgrounded so as toprovide some protectionagainst voltage surgesandbuilt-up static charges. Lightning or NonusePeriods -For addedprotection for thisunit duringa lightning storm, or whenit isleft unattachedfor long periodsof time,unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect theantennaor cable system. This will prevent damagetotheunit due tolightningand power-line surges. 16. Object and LiquidEntry - Never pushobjectsof any kindinto thisunit throughopeningsas they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result ina fireor electric shock. Never spillliquidofany kindon theunit 17.
