155 T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G A N D M A I N T E N A N C E WARNING Handle the toner cartridge carefully. If toner scatters on your hands or clothes, immediately wipe it off or wash it with cold water. 3 Unpack the new toner cartridge. Place the used toner cartridge into the aluminium bag and discard it according to local regulations. WARNING s Wait to unpack the toner cartridge until immediately before you install it into the machine. If a toner cartridge is left unpacked for a long period of time, the toner life is shortened. s You should use only a genuine Brother toner cartridge (TN-6300/ TN-6600 series), which is specially formulated to ensure top print quality. Using another brand of toner cartridge may void your machine's warranty. 4 Gently rock the toner cartridge from side to side five or six times. 5 Remove the protective cover.
