Useful Functions Useful Functions Automatically cutting the thread The machine can be set to automatically cut the threads at the end of the stitching. This is called "programmed thread cutting". If programmed thread cutting is set, automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching is also set. Mirroring stitches You can sew the mirror image of a stitch horizontally (left and right). Automatically cutting the thread
The machine can be set to automatically cut the threads at the
end of the stitching. This is called “programmed thread
cutting”. If programmed thread cutting is set, automatic
reverse/reinforcement stitching is also set.

Turn on the machine.

Select a stitch.
For details on selecting a stitch, refer to “Selecting a
stitch pattern” on page B-35.
