Stitch Setting Chart Stitch Setting Chart STARTING TO SEW Applications, stitch lengths and widths and whether the twin needle can be used are listed for utility stitches in the following table. This table applies to several models (Model 3, 2 and 1). Refer to the Quick Reference Guide for the model of your machine. *1 Patterns printed on the numeric keys on the machine can be selected directly. For details, refer to "Preset utility stitches" on page B-51. *2 For free motion quilting, use free motion open toe quilting foot "O" (sold separately with some models). *3 When (Automatic reverse/reinforcement key) is activated, the stitch will begin with reinforcement stitch. If (Reinforcement priority) on the settings screen is also set to "ON", the machine will sew reinforcement stitches at the end of stitching and then stop. B Note • The walking foot can only be used with straight or zigzag stitch patterns. Do not sew reverse stitches with the walking foot.
