Shooting Video and Taking Photos • About the flexible recording mode: Use the flexible recording mode to access the menus and advanced functions and to change various settings up to your preferences. Press again to switch back to the flexible recording mode. When recording movies, you can also use the digital zoom. See [Digital Zoom] ( 133) for details. • About the zoom speed: The zoom lever is set to a variable speed. That is, the zoom speed depends on how you press the lever: press gently for slower zooms; press harder for faster zooms. You can also change the zoom speed to one of three constant speeds.
