Using the CD or DVD Drive If disc play does not start automatically, complete the following steps: 1. Use the Windows Start menu to open the Windows Media Player. 2. Click the Play button to begin playing the CD. 3. Click the Stop button to stop playing the CD. To remove the disc from the drive, click the Eject button on the CD or DVD drive. Playing Non-DVD Video Discs To play a video disc, insert the disc into the CD or DVD drive. After a few seconds, the disc automatically starts playing. If disc play does not start automatically, complete the following steps: 1. Use the Windows Start menu to open the Windows Media Player. 2. Select File, and then Open from the Windows Media Player menu. 3. Click the Look in tab. 4. Locate and double-click the CD Drive æ icon. You should see a list of files and file folders. 5. Double-click the folder that contains the CD movie files. 6. Select a movie file and click the Open button. A viewing window for the movie is displayed and the movie starts playing. Users Guide 5-5

1. Use the Windows

Player.
