Specifies which type of user verification to perform: • Guest: The user does not need to be authenticated by a database. • Local: The switch uses a local database to authenticate users. • RADIUS: The switch uses a database on a remote RADIUS server to authenticate users. To configure authorized users on the local or remote RADIUS database, see "Monitoring and Configuring Captive Portal Users" on page 174. Changing the Captive Portal Settings By default, the D-Link Unified Switch has one captive portal. You can change the settings for that captive portal, and you can also create and configure up to nine additional portals. Changing the Captive Portal Settings
By default, the D-Link Unified Switch has one captive portal. You can change the settings for
that captive portal, and you can also create and configure up to nine additional portals. After
you create a captive portal from the
CP Summary
page, you can change its settings.
