You can identify the M.2 boot module adaptor by the blue retaining tabs. 2. Press the blue retaining tabs downward to free the M.2 boot module adaptor from its slot. 3. Touching only the outside edges of the M.2 boot module adaptor, remove the M.2 boot module adaptor. Figure 124. Removing the M.2 boot module adaptor 4. Remove the internal M.2 boot modules: a. Gently pull the handle on the release tab to separate it from the tab holding it in place. b. Gently pull straight up on the pull tab to free it from the M.2 boot module adaptor. c. Remove the faulted M.2 boot module adaptor
Steps
1.
Locate the M.2 boot module adaptor in the node.
You can identify the M.2 boot module adaptor by the blue retaining tabs.
2.
Press the blue retaining tabs downward to free the M.2 boot module adaptor from its slot.
3.
Touching only the outside edges of the M.2 boot module adaptor, remove the M.2 boot module adaptor.

4.
Remove the internal M.2 boot modules:
a.
Gently pull the handle on the release tab to separate it from the tab holding it in place.
b.
Gently pull straight up on the pull tab to free it from the M.2 boot module adaptor.
c.
Remove the internal M.2 boot module from the M.2 boot module adaptor.
