4. Select the setting that matches the aspect ratio of your projection surface. If necessary, you can press the [Aspect] button on the remote control to temporarily change the aspect ratio as necessary to match the input signal. You will need to project content from a connected device in order to change the aspect ratio. Remote Control Aspect Ratio Normal The following is a list of available aspect settings: • Auto: Automatically sets the aspect ratio according to the input signal and the Resolution setting. • Full: Displays images using the full width of the projection area, but does not retain the aspect ratio. 4:3 ratio images are elongated horizontally. • Zoom: Displays images using the full width of the projection area and maintains the aspect ratio of the image. The image may be cut off on the top and bottom depending on its aspect ratio. • Native: Displays images as is (aspect ratio and resolution are maintained). Black bands may appear or images may be cut off, depending on the resolution. 5. If you selected the 16:6 (BrightLink 1485Fi/1485Fi+/EB-735Fi and PowerLite EB-750F/EB-755F/EB-800F/ EB-805F only) or 21:9 (BrightLink 1480Fi/14840Fi+/1485Fi/1485Fi+ and PowerLite EB-800F/EB-805F) Screen Type setting and want to eliminate the black bar at the top of the screen, select the Installation > Screen Position setting and then press and hold the up arrow button on the remote until the image rests at the top of the screen.
