This guide describes how to upgrade controller software, disk drive firmware, and related EVA management software on HP
4000/6000/8000 and 4100/6100/8100 Enterprise Virtual Array models. These arrays are referenced as
EVA4x00/6x00/8x00 throughout the document. This guide is intended for field personnel and customers who are experienced
with Enterprise Virtual Arrays, storage area networks, and HP Command View EVA.
This guide does not provide information about upgrading or changing the Enterprise Virtual Array hardware.
The information in this guide is subject to change. Check for the latest version before starting an upgrade.
