Before removing the WLAN antennas and external connectors, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 18). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19). Remove the WLAN antennas and external connectors: 1. Lift the retainer latch (1) on the back of the computer. 2. Lift the antenna connector assembly (2) up and out of the slot. 3. Disconnect the antenna cables (3) from the WLAN module. 4. Remove the antenna cables from the clip (4) on the back of the computer.
