Fingerprint reader To remove the fingerprint reader, use this procedure and illustration. Before removing the fingerprint reader, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 21). 2. Remove the display assembly (see Display assembly on page 21). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 23). Remove the fingerprint reader: ▲ From the inside, push up on the fingerprint reader to remove it.
