Cable Connections Booting the Server Booting the Server To boot the server, perform the following step. Step 1. Depress the power switch located to the right of the Front Panel LEDs. If the autoboot function is enabled, the system will boot to the installed operating system. If autoboot is not enabled, the system will enter the EFI Boot Manager. The EFI Boot Manager allows you to control the server's booting environment. For more information about the EFI Boot Manager, review the Utilities chapter of the Operations Guide. 88 Chapter 5

Booting the Server
To boot the server, perform the following step.
Step 1.
Depress the power switch located to the right of the Front Panel LEDs.
If the autoboot function is enabled, the system will boot to the installed operating system. If autoboot is not
enabled, the system will enter the EFI Boot Manager. The EFI Boot Manager allows you to control the
