b. Lift the rear of the puller plate [4] and continue to slide back while pulling the catch [3] out of the opening in the base. To install the puller plate assembly, press the docking aid [3] through the opening and slide the puller plate [1] into place (Figure 7-37). Reverse the previous procedure to install the docking mechanism. Be sure to use nylock screws for the docking bar and spring. Chapter 7.19 Docking Lever and Cover To remove the docking lever and cover, complete the following steps: 1. Prepare the expansion base for disassembly as described in Section 7.3. 2. Remove the bottom cover assembly as described in Section 7.5. 3. Remove the screw and washer that connects the docking bar to the slide block and docking lever (Figure 7-38).
