Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the TouchPad cable is connected.
2.
Disconnect the TouchPad cable
(2)
from the TouchPad.
If it is necessary to replace the security cable slot bracket, follow these steps:

Remove the 2 Phillips 2.0x4.0 screws
(1)
that secure the security cable slot bracket to the top
