Before removing the power button board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the tablet. 4. Remove the display enclosure (see Display enclosure on page 31). 5. Disconnect the tablet battery cable from the system board (see Sensor board on page 32). Remove the power button board: 1. Disconnect the power button board cable (1) from the sensor board. 2. Detach the left wireless antenna transceiver (2) from the heat sink. (The wireless antenna transceiver is attached to the heat sink with double-sided tape.) 3. Release the power button board cable from the routing clips (3) built into the display panel assembly. 4. Detach the power button board (4) from the display panel assembly. (The power button board is attached to the display panel assembly with double-sided tape.) 5. Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:

Remove the power button board:
1.
Disconnect the power button board cable
(1)
from the sensor board.
2.
Detach the left wireless antenna transceiver

from the heat sink. (The wireless antenna
transceiver is attached to the heat sink with double-sided tape.)
3.
Release the power button board cable from the routing clips

built into the display
panel assembly.
4.
Detach the power button board
(4)
from the display panel assembly. (The power button board is
attached to the display panel assembly with double-sided tape.)
5.
Remove the power button board and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
