HDMI/USB board Description HDMI/USB board (includes HDMI port and USB 3.0 port) Spare part number 740209-001 Before removing the HDMI/USB board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base are off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the tablet and keyboard base. 3. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 61). 5. Disconnect the keyboard base battery cable from the docking board (see Keyboard base battery on page 62). Remove the HDMI/USB board: 1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the card reader board cable is attached, and then disconnect the card reader board cable from the HDMI/USB board. 2. Disconnect the hinge assembly "HDMI side" cable (2) from the HDMI/USB board. 3. Remove the two Phillips PM1.85×3.00 screws (3) that secure the HDMI/USB board to the keyboard/top cover. 4. Before removing the HDMI/USB board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base
are off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the
tablet and keyboard base.
3.
Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.
4.
Remove the bottom cover (see

).
5.
Disconnect the keyboard base battery cable from the docking board (see
Keyboard base battery
on page
62
).
Remove the HDMI/USB board:
1.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the card reader board cable is attached, and then
disconnect the card reader board cable from the HDMI/USB board.
2.
Disconnect the hinge assembly “HDMI side” cable

from the HDMI/USB board.
3.
Remove the two Phillips PM1.85×3.00 screws

that secure the HDMI/USB board to the
keyboard/top cover.
