Docking board Description Docking board Spare part number 740206-001 Before removing the docking board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base are off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the tablet and keyboard base. 3. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 61). 5. Remove the keyboard base battery (see Keyboard base battery on page 62). Remove the docking board: 1. Disconnect the following cables from the docking board: (1) and (4) Hinge assembly cables (2) TouchPad cable (3) Keyboard cable (5) Power connector cable 2. Remove the four Phillips PM1.85×2.75 screws (1) that secure the docking board to the keyboard/top cover. Keyboard base component replacement procedures 71
