Switch to your SB Live! DOS driver directory, that is: C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\SBLIVE\DOSDRV 2. Type SBECFG and then press Enter NOTE: The MS-DOS driver SBEINIT.COM must be running for SBECFG.EXE to work properly. Some older games may have difficulty detecting the SB Live! card at certain resource settings. Typically, these games would expect the card to be at a fixed set of resources and would fail to load if those resources are not detected. If you have older MS-DOS games that do not work properly, try changing the SB Live! SB16 Emulation configuration. Use the following as a guide: Problem: Sound Blaster emulation is not recognized. Resource: Try switching the SB Emulation IRQ between 5 and 7, use DMA channel 1, use SB interface port 220. Problem: The MPU-401emulation is not recognized. file:///C|/Terrys/determin.htm (1 of 2) [1/2/2001 2:17:12 PM]
