System Board Description System board (includes thermal material) Spare part number 674783-001 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 46). 2. When replacing the system board, make sure the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board: ● Memory modules (Memory on page 82) ● Serial port board (USB+PWR 24V and Cash Drawer Port Daughter Card on page 108) ● WLAN (WLAN Module on page 109) ● Processor (Processor on page 99) ● Heat sink (Heat Sink on page 97) ● Processor (Processor on page 99) 3. Remove the rear I/O panel (Rear I/O Panel on page 49). 4. Remove the mounting bracket cover (Mounting Bracket Cover on page 53). 5. Remove the display head back panel (Display Head Back Panel on page 54). 6. Remove the display head from the stand (Removing the Display Head from the Stand on page 90). 7. Remove the rear metal plate (Rear Metal Plate (EMI shield) on page 91). 8. Disconnect all data, power, and any other cables from the system board. 9.
