When routing to an M-EOS edge fabric using frame redirection, the fabric must have a Fabric
OS-based product in order to configure the frame redirection zone information.
5
When directly attached to a host or target that is part of an encryption flow.
6
Products operating with Fabric OS versions earlier than 5.3.1b or 6.1.0e cannot participate in a
logical fabric that is using XISLs (in the base fabric).
7
These platforms cannot be directly attached to hosts or targets for encryption flows.
8
SANRouters 1620 and 2640 should not be used with XPath or Fabric OS-based routing (FCR) for
connections to the same edge fabric.
9
When attempting to use HP StorageWorks Fabric Manager (FM) v5.5 and lower with Fabric OS
(FOS) v6.1.1 and higher, users may encounter problems with Zoning, Performance monitoring,
SYSLOG configuration, FICON wizards, IOD Delay, AAA replication, Port enable/disable, and other
functions. Customers using FOS 6.1.1 and higher should upgrade to HP StorageWorks Data Center
Fabric Manager (DCFM) v10.3.x, except when using Admin Domains. If Admin Domains are being
used, users can downgrade their fabric FOS to v6.1.0h to continue using Admin Domains.
10
Fabric Manager is not supported with FOS 6.3.x.
