Removal and Replacement Procedures- Slim Tower (ST) Chassis 7.21 Backwall 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 7.1, "Preparation for Disassembly"). 2. Remove the computer cover (Section 7.5, "Computer Cover"). 3. Remove all PCI and PCI Express expansion boards (Section 7.9, "Vertically Oriented Expansion Card"). 4. Press down on the green latch located on the front of the chassis next to the drives 1. This disengages the drive cage. 5. Slide the drive cage forward until it stops 2. ✎ It is not necessary to remove any drives from the drive cage. The drive cage is moved only to gain working room. 6. Remove the power supply from the chassis (Section 7.18, "Power Supply"). 7. 7.21 Backwall
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Section 7.1, “Preparation for Disassembly”
).
2. Remove the computer cover (
Section 7.5, “Computer Cover”
).
3. Remove all PCI and PCI Express expansion boards (
Section 7.9, “Vertically Oriented
Expansion Card”
).
4. Press down on the green latch located on the front of the chassis next to the drives
