Cover-release latch 4. Lift the cover-release latch. Lift the cover off the server and set the cover aside. Removing the air baffle When you work with some optional devices, you must first remove the air baffle to access certain components or connectors on the system board. The following illustration shows how to remove the air baffle. Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, replace the air baffle before you turn on the server.
