Read the safety information that begins on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 9. 2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables (see "Turning off the server" on page 37); then, remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 11). 3. Remove the riser-card assembly (see "Removing the riser-card assembly" on page 23). 4. Grasp the tabs on each side of the air baffle, and lift the air baffle out of the server. Installing the air baffle To install the air baffle, complete the following steps: Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, replace the air baffle before you turn on the server. To

baffle,
complete
the
following
steps:

2.
Turn
off
the
server
and
peripheral
devices
and
disconnect

cables

the

assembly

4.
Grasp
the
tabs
on

side
of
the
air
baffle,
and
lift
the
air
baffle
out
of
the
server.

baffle,

Attention:
For
