When you want to announce a message to these ships, use the 'All Ships Call' function. qqEnter "ALL SHIPS CALL" in the DSC CALLS menu. MENU ➪ DSC Calls ➪ All Ships Call (Push [MENU].) (Rotate Dial, then push [ENT].) wwSelect a desired category, using Dial or [Y]/[Z], then push Dial or [ENT]. • T he selectable category may differ, depending on the presetting. Ask your dealer for the selectable categories. • Push [EXIT] to return to the normal operating mode. • Push [BACK] to return to the previous screen. rrA confirmation screen is displayed. • Confirm the call contents. ttPush [CALL] to transmit the All Ships call. • If Channel 70 is busy, the transceiver stands by until the channel becomes clear. eeSelect a desired traffic channel, using Dial or [Y]/[Z], then push Dial or [ENT]. • The selected channel is displayed. yyAfter the All Ships call has been transmitted, the following screen is displayed. uuAnnounce the message using the microphone. iiAfter the announcement, push [EXIT] to return to the nor- mal operating mode. 34
