Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting and Maintaining the Printer Fingerprint Error Messages (continued) Message Description Ready-to-Work Error Indicator Status Number Initializing The printer is initializing. Off IP The printer is trying to acquire an IP address from configuration the network. Wait for the printer to complete the error task before taking any action. Blinking IP link error No network connection. Blinking Label not taken Label not taken Blinking LSS too high This error can occur when you run a test feed Blinking without any media installed, or if you have incorrect media settings. Load the printer with media and select the appropriate media type. For help, see "Loading Media" on page 7.
