Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting and Maintaining the Printer IPL Error Messages Message Description Ready-to-Work Error Indicator Status Number No Printhead Printhead not found Off Open & Shut Cutter error 1. Open and shut the cutter. Cutter Blinking Open & Shut Cutter error 2. Open and shut the cutter. Cutter Blinking Open & Shut Cutter error 3. Open and shut the cutter. Cutter Blinking Paper Fault LSS too high. This error can occur when you run a test feed without any media installed, or if you have incorrect media settings. Load the printer with media and select the appropriate media type. For help, see "Loading Media" on page 7. Blinking Paper Fault LSS too low. Paused Press Feed This is not an error condition. This message appears Blinking when the print job is paused. Press the F button to resume. Blinking Printhead Hot The printhead is overheated and needs to Off cool down. Wait for printing to resume automatically. Printhead Up The printhead is lifted. Lower the printhead. Blinking Psu Over Power supply over temperature Off Temp Ribbon Fitted This is not an error condition.
