Registering/Settings 8 3 Touch [IP Address Fax]. 4 Touch [New]. 5 Touch [Name], enter the destination name and then touch [OK]. - Name of up to 24 characters can be registered. - For details on text input operation, refer to "Entering text" on page 11-3. - To change the registration number, touch [No.], and then use the keypad to type in a number. If a destination is already registered with the entered number, an error message appears and the destination cannot be registered with the entered number. - If the registration number is not specified, it is automatically selected. - Touch the search button of the search character that is to be registered from [Favorites] - [etc]. - If the search character is specified for destinations that are used often, it is displayed at the beginning on the [Address Book] tab when [Favorites] is selected. - Normally, search character is set automatically, from the first character of registered name. 6 Touch [IP Address], enter the IP address and then touch [OK].
