Reception 3 3.5 Maintaining a record during reception When printing the received fax, the page size of the received document is compared with the size of the loaded paper, and the fax is printed by reducing at the specified reduction rate or by reducing so as to fit the loaded paper. However, if printing is set for equal size printing, the received fax is printed of the same size regardless of the paper size of the received fax. 2 Reminder When a fax is received in color mode, it is normally printed in the same size. When a fax is received in color mode, page division printing cannot be used. The color mode can be used only in IP Address Fax. ! Detail For details on reduction rate, refer to "Settings of transmission and reception mode (TX/RX Settings)" on page 9-58. Reduction printing When regular size document is received, printing is done by reducing by the reduction rate set for that paper size. (Default value is 96%) Document Received document Reduced according to the setting specified for "Min. Reduction for RX Print". Printing by reducing to fit the paper When the received document is longer than regular size, an appropriate paper size is determined from the width and length of the received document and it is printed on a paper of that size. When the most appropriate paper size is not loaded in the paper tray, the document is reduced and printed on a paper of the nearest size. Document Received document Reduced to fit the paper Standards of determining the appropriate paper size and paper selection are as follows. C650 3-6
