Use the blue handle to pivot the hard disk drive and bracket upward, slide the hard disk drive to the left until it is free from the retaining clips in the bottom of the chassis, and then completely remove it from the chassis. Figure 21. Removing the hard disk drive 4. Disconnect the signal and power cables from the rear of the hard disk drive. 5. To install a new hard disk drive into the blue bracket, flex the bracket and align pin 1 , pin 2 , pin 3 , and pin 4 on the bracket with the holes in the hard disk drive. the
hard
disk
drive
to
the
left
until
it
is
free
from
the
retaining
clips

bottom
of
the
chassis,
and
then
completely
remove
it
from

chassis.

Disconnect

rear

the

disk
drive.
5.
To
install

new
hard
disk
drive

and
pin

on
the
bracket
with
the
holes
in
the
hard
disk
drive.
Do
not
touch
the

board

on
the
bottom
