Erasing a Lost or Forgotten Administrator Password: This section applies to lost or forgotten administrator passwords. If you have lost or forgotten your administrator password, you must remove the computer cover and move the CMOS Clear jumper (also referred to as the password jumper) on the system board in order to erase the password so that you can regain access to the Configuration/Setup Utility program. See Installing Options in Your Personal Computer for instructions on removing the computer cover and moving jumpers.
