T2221UB_T1201UB_EN2 3/7/06 11:08 AM Page 55 Track Search There are three ways to search for a track. Refer to A-C below. ● Before you begin, press SELECT to put the TV/VCR/DVD in DVD mode. The green DVD light will appear on the front of the TV/VCR/DVD. Make sure a valid disc is in the disc tray. A Using the Number Buttons To select a single digit track number: press the number directly. Playback of the selected track will start automatically. To select 2 digit track number: - If the disc contains more than 9 and less than 100 tracks (total track number is 2 digit), press +100/+10 button first. Then enter the track number. For example if you want to select track 26, press +100/+10 first, then press 2 and 6. - If the disc contains more than 99 tracks (total track number is 3 digit), press +100/+10 button then press 0.Then enter the track number. Or press +100/+10 first, enter the track number, then press ENTER at the last. To select 3 digit track number: Press +100/+10 first. Then enter the track number. If you enter a track number that is not available on the disc, playback will not begin (or the current track will continue to play). B Using j/h and i/g During playback, press i/g to skip the current track and move to the next track. Press j/h to return to the beginning of the current track or to go to previous tracks. (For JPEG playback, you also can use { or B.) C Using MODE 1 During disc playback, press MODE repeatedly until the Search Menu appears in the information bar at the top of the screen. _/17 (SEARCH) 2 Press ▲ or ▼ repeatedly until appears. Within 1 minute, enter the desired track number using the Number buttons. To select a single digit track number: Press 0 first. (If the total track number is more than 9 and less than 100, press 0 once. If the total track number is more than 99, press 0 twice. ) Then enter the track number. To select 2 digit track number: - If the disc contains more than 9 and less than 100 tracks (total track number is 2 digit), enter the track number directly. - If the disc contains more than 99 tracks (total track number is 3 digit), press 0 first.Then enter the track number. Or enter the track number, then press ENTER at the last. To select 3 digit track number: Enter the track number directly. SELECT MODE DISPLAY MUTE Helpful Hints • j/h and i/g does not function when playback is stopped. • You cannot use i/g to go from the last track on the disc to the first track. • Using j/h or i/g during Dual Playback will only affect MP3 files. If you want to skip JPEG files during Dual Playback, press s or B.
