Appendices Cleaning the Filter The air-filter sponge keeps dust and dirt from getting inside the projector and should be frequently cleaned. If the filter is dirty or clogged, your projector may overheat. The message for filter cleaning will be displayed for one minute when the projector is turned on or off. CAUTION: • Turn off the projector, and unplug the projector before replacing the filter. • Only clean the outside of the filter cover with a vacuum cleaner. • Do not attempt to operate the projector without the filter cover. Cleaning the Filter
The air-filter sponge keeps dust and dirt from getting inside
the projector and should be frequently cleaned. If the filter is
dirty or clogged, your projector may overheat.
The message for filter
cleaning will be dis-
played for one minute
when the projector is
turned on or off.
To cancel the message,
press any button on
the projector cabinet
or the remote control.
