Power Button. On (Blue) Blinking Off On: Power is supplied to the ReadyNAS 2100. Blink: The ReadyNAS 2100 is booting. It it continues blinking for more than 10 seconds, and no error code displays on the LEDs, the BIOS hung with an unknown error. When the unit is running the BIOS or boot loader, pressing the power switch once will power it off immediately. Preferred Shutdown: If the unit OS is running, pressing the power switch once will begin graceful shutdown blink pattern on the LEDs. Pressing the power button a second time confirms and initiates the graceful shutdown. Forced Shutdown: If the unit is hung, you can press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force shutdown. Power is not supplied to the ReadyNAS 2100. Button.
Reset: Press once to do a warm boot of the ReadyNAS 2100.
Diagnostics: To enter the diagnostic boot menu, press and hold while powering the
unit on, and keep pressing until all LEDs except the Disk ACT are on

On: Power is supplied to the ReadyNAS 2100.
Blink: The ReadyNAS 2100 is booting. It it continues blinking for
more than 10 seconds, and no error code displays on the LEDs, the
BIOS hung with an unknown error. When the unit is running the BIOS
or boot loader, pressing the power switch once will power it off
immediately.
Preferred Shutdown
: If the unit OS is running, pressing the power
switch once will begin graceful shutdown blink pattern on the LEDs.
Pressing the power button a second time confirms and initiates the
graceful shutdown.
Forced Shutdown
: If the unit is hung, you can press and hold the
power button for 5 seconds to force shutdown.
Power is not supplied to the ReadyNAS 2100.
Note
: If all LEDs (including power LED) are blinking, pressing the
power button will force a shutdown but doing nothing will let the
system resume its operations.
