Managing Your Shares
Shares enable you to organize the information stored on a volume, and administer who has access
to that information. For example, generic policies and forms like blank expense reports everyone
should be able to access, compared with sensitive data like financial information only the finance
group should be able to access.
The Shares menu provides all the options pertaining to share services for the ReadyNAS 2100
device. This entails share management (including data and print shares), volume management, and
share service management.
