Reference Manual for the WG602 v2 54 Mbps Wireless Access Point Viewing a List of Attached Devices The Station List page contains a table of all IP devices associated with the wireless access point in the wireless network defined by the Wireless Network Name (SSID). From the main menu of the browser interface, under the Management heading, click the Station List link to view the list, shown below. Figure 4-2: Information Station List of associated devices For each device, the table shows the MAC address and whether the device is allowed to communicate with the wireless access point or not. Note that if the wireless access point is rebooted, the table data is lost until the wireless access point rediscovers the devices. To force the wireless access point to look for associated devices, click the Refresh button. Note: A wireless network can include multiple wireless access points, all using the same network name (SSID). This enables extending the reach of the wireless network and allows users to roam from one access point to another, providing seamless network connectivity. Under these circumstances, be aware that only the stations associated with this access point will be presented in the Station List. Upgrading the Wireless Access Point Software . Note: When uploading software to the WG602 v2 Access Point, it is important not to interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. If the browser is interrupted, the upload may fail, corrupt the software, and render the WG602 v2 completely inoperable. Management 4-3 M-10181-03

Viewing a List of Attached Devices
The Station List page contains a table of all IP devices associated with the wireless access point in
the wireless network defined by the Wireless Network Name (SSID). From the main menu of the
browser interface, under the Management heading, click the Station List link to view the list,
shown below.

For each device, the table shows the MAC address and whether the device is allowed to
communicate with the wireless access point or not. Note that if the wireless access point is
rebooted, the table data is lost until the wireless access point rediscovers the devices. To force the
wireless access point to look for associated devices, click the Refresh button.
Note:
A wireless network can include multiple wireless access points, all using the same network
name (SSID). This enables extending the reach of the wireless network and allows users to roam
from one access point to another, providing seamless network connectivity. Under these
circumstances, be aware that only the stations associated with this access point will be presented in
the Station List.

Note:
When uploading software to the WG602 v2 Access Point, it is important not to
interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page.
If the browser is interrupted, the upload may fail, corrupt the software, and render the
WG602 v2 completely inoperable.
