Macro Close-up Mode Macro close-up mode is used for taking pictures of objects as close as 10 cm (3.9 in.). Note that the flash may be unable to light entire subject at distances of less than 30 cm (11.8 in.). 1 Press L (macro close-up mode). The macro close-up menu is displayed. Basic Photography and Playback: Auto Mode 2 Use the multi selector to choose [ON] and press d. The macro close-up mode icon (F) is displayed. When [OFF] is selected, FOFF is only displayed for five seconds. The monitor will return to the normal display for the current mode if the setting is not applied by pressing d within five seconds. 3 Press v or t to frame the picture. Camera can focus at distance of 10 cm (3.9 in.), if zoom is adjusted until F icon turns green. Macro close-up 4 Focus and shoot. Macro close-up mode is used for taking pictures of objects as close as 10 cm
(3.9 in.). Note that the flash may be unable to light entire subject at distances
of less than 30 cm (11.8 in.).
