Replacing the Fan Unit The Nokia IP2255 appliance fan tray assembly is a single-unit made up of four individual fans to provide the air flow required to maintain a proper operating temperature. The fan unit provides N + 1 cooling, so it can provide proper airflow even if an individual fan fails. Caution To help guard against electrostatic discharge damage, make sure you are properly grounded by using a grounding wrist strap and following the instructions provided with the wrist strap before you handle the components or open the appliance. If you do not have a grounding wrist strap, make sure you are properly grounded before you touch any electronic component.
