Convenient print functions Matching Colors Using Utility Software Network Setup Network Extension You can easily check the device settings and set the optional device configurations from the printer drivers. Reference zz Network Extension is installed together with the printer drivers. Operations environment PCs running Windows 8.1/Windows 8/Windows 7/ Windows Vista/Windows Server 2012 R2/Windows 2012/Windows Server 2008 R2/Windows Server 2008 Versions PCs operating using TCP/IP Note zz The software operates in tandem with the printer drivers, so it is necessary to install the printer drivers. zz Network Extension is installed automatically when the printer drivers are installed using a TCP/IP network connection. zz The printer driver connection destination operates only in the following circumstances. -- OKI LPR Port -- Standard TCP/IP Port zz PC administrator privileges are required for the setup. Windows utilities Checking the printer settings You can check the setup details for the connected device. 1 Note zz Even if Network Extension is installed, the [Options] tab is not displayed if there is a mismatch with the operations environment. 2 1 Click [Start], and then select [Devices and printers]. 2 Right-click the [OKI (product name) (PS)] or [OKI (product name)(PCL6)] 3 icon, and select [Printer properties]. 3 Click the [Status] tab. 4 4 Click the [Update] button. 5 Appendix Index (Windows 7 PCL drivers window) The setup details for the device will be displayed in the "Device Settings". 5 Click [OK].
