The Capture Mode Palette appears. 2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select (Digital Panorama), and press the 4 button. The screen to specify the direction you want to pan appears. 3 Use the four-way controller (45) to select the direction to stitch. (5): stitch the frames to the right (4): stitch the frames to the left Set shift direction The camera is ready for taking the first frame. The following procedures will explain steps for those when (5) is selected. 4 Take the first frame. 1 38 Press the shutter release button fully to take the first frame, and after the taken image is displayed on the LCD monitor (Instant Review), the camera is ready for taking the second frame. In the second frame shooting screen, an "overlay" from the first frame appears at the left 1/4 of the LCD monitor. The on the upper left part of the screen indicates the number of the next frame for shooting. 59
