Playing Back Images on a TV USB/AV terminal AUDIO yellow VIDEO (L) (R) white Playing Back and Deleting Images By connecting your camera to a TV or other AV equipment using the supplied USB/AV cable, you can display images on the monitor for review or picture taking. 1 Connect the supplied USB/AV cable to the USB/AV 5 terminal on the camera. 2 Connect the other ends of the USB/AV cable (yellow: video, white: audio) to the video input terminal and audio input terminal on the AV equipment. When using stereo sound equipment, insert the sound terminal into the L (white) terminal. 3 Turn the AV equipment on. When the equipment that the camera is connected to and the equipment that plays back images are different, turn both equipment on. When viewing images on AV equipment with multiple video input terminals (such as a TV), refer to the operation manual of the equipment and select the video input terminal to which the camera is connected. 4 Turn the camera on. • Depending on the country or region, images and sound files may fail to be played back if the video output format is set different from the one in use there. If this happens, change the video output format setting. (p.129) • The LCD monitor of the camera turns off while it is connected to AV equipment. You cannot adjust sound volume using the Zoom button on the camera. You are recommended to use the AC adapter kit K-AC62 (optional) if you intend to use the camera for a long time. (p.20) 93

Playing Back Images on a TV
By connecting your camera to a TV or other AV equipment using the
supplied USB/AV cable, you can display images on the monitor for
review or picture taking.

Connect the supplied USB/AV cable to the USB/AV
terminal on the camera.

Connect the other ends of the USB/AV cable (yellow:
video, white: audio) to the video input terminal and
audio input terminal on the AV equipment.
When using stereo sound equipment, insert the sound terminal into the
L (white) terminal.

Turn the AV equipment on.
When the equipment that the camera is connected to and the equipment
that plays back images are different, turn both equipment on.
When viewing images on AV equipment with multiple video input
