Changing Initial Settings of DVD Player Setting the Subtitle (SUBTITLE LANG.) You can set a desired subtitle language. If the selected subtitle language is recorded on the DVD, subtitles are displayed in that language. You can also switch subtitle and assist subtitle display ON/OFF. Setting Subtitles and Assist Subtitles ON/OFF You can switch Subtitle and Assist Subtitle ON/OFF as desired. 1. Move the joystick up/down to select the "SUBTITLE LANG.". "SUBTITLE LANG." is indicated in blue. 2. Click the joystick. A subtitle language menu is displayed. 3. Move the joystick up/down to select Subtitle ON/OFF (LANGUAGE) or Assist Subtitle ON/OFF (ASSIST). 4. Click the joystick. Each time you click the joystick the selected setting switches ON/OFF. Note: • Pressing the RETURN button takes you back to the previous display. 7 Assist Subtitles Assist subtitles offer explanations for the aurally impaired. Setting the Subtitle (SUBTITLE LANG.)
You can set a desired subtitle language. If the selected subtitle language is recorded on the
DVD, subtitles are displayed in that language. You can also switch subtitle and assist subtitle
display ON/OFF.
Setting Subtitles and Assist Subtitles ON/OFF
You can switch Subtitle and Assist Subtitle ON/OFF as desired.
1.
Move the joystick up/down to select
the “SUBTITLE LANG.”.
“SUBTITLE LANG.” is indicated in blue.
2.
Click the joystick.
A subtitle language menu is displayed.
3.
Move the joystick up/down to select Subtitle
ON/OFF (LANGUAGE) or Assist Subtitle
ON/OFF (ASSIST).
4.
Click the joystick.
Each time you click the joystick the selected setting
switches ON/OFF.
Note:

Pressing the RETURN button takes you back to the previous display.
