Repeat Play - DVD/Video CD/CD You can repeat chapters or titles on DVDs, or repeat tracks, one disc or all discs (ALL) with CDs and Video CDs. Each time REPEAT is pressed, the repeat mode changes as follows. 3 Chapter Repeat 3 Title Repeat Repeat Off 2 • During repeat title playback, the title continues playing until the end, and then playback starts once more from the beginning of that title. Repeat play options for Video CD and CD Press REPEAT once during playback of a track you want to repeat, twice to repeat playback of the current disc, and three times to repeat all of the discs loaded in the player. Each time REPEAT is pressed, the repeat mode changes as follows. 3 Track Repeat Repeat Off 2 3 1 Disc Repeat ALL Discs Repeat 2 • During ALL Discs Repeat playback, if a DVD is loaded in the player, repeat playback is canceled, and normal playback of the DVD begins. 48 To repeat random playback Press REPEAT once during random playback to repeat the random (pages 49). To repeat a program Press REPEAT once during program playback to repeat the program (pages 50-51). To cancel repeat play Press CLEAR. Playback continues, but the repeat function is canceled. Repeat play of a specified section Press REPEAT A-B at the beginning and end of the section you want to repeat. • When REPEAT A-B is pressed a second time, the disc returns to the location where REPEAT A-B was pressed first and plays the selected section repeatedly. • You can only perform A-B repeat within the same title, chapter, or track. To cancel REPEAT A-B repeat play Press CLEAR. Playback continues, but the repeat function is canceled. Return to a specified location on a disc 1 Press REPEAT A-B at the desired location. 2 When you want to return to the specified location, press PLAY 3. To clear the specified location Press CLEAR to cancel repeat play or to clear the specified location that was set using REPEAT A-B. Notes • With some DVD discs, there may be times when repeat playback is not possible. In these cases, the mark will appear on the screen. • With Video CDs, repeat play is not possible when the menu is displayed (PBC playback). To perform repeat play, start playback without displaying a menu by pressing the track number to be repeated when the disc is stopped, and then press REPEAT. • If you switch camera angle during repeat play, repeat play is cancelled.
