Understanding display messages 4. Troubleshooting 129 13 Tray-related messages Message Meaning Suggested solutions • Output bin full Remove paper • Output bin full Output bin full. Remove printed paper The output tray is full. Remove papers from the output tray, the printer resumes printing. • Paper Empty in Tray 1 • Paper Empty in tray 1 Paper is empty in tray 1. Load paper There is no paper in tray 1. Load paper in tray 1 (see "Loading paper in the tray/optional tray" on page 51). • Paper Empty in Tray 2 • Paper Empty in tray 2 Paper is empty in tray 2. Load paper There is no paper in tray 2. Load paper in tray 2 (see "Loading paper in the tray/optional tray" on page 51). Message Meaning Suggested solutions • Paper Empty in MP tray • Paper Empty in MP Paper is empty in MP tray. Load paper There is no paper in the multi-purpose tray. Load paper in the multi-purpose tray (see "Loading in multipurpose tray" on page 52). • Pulled Out The tray is not Tray 1 Cassette securely latched. Close the tray until it locks into place. • Pulled Out The tray is not Tray 2 Cassette securely latched. Close the tray until it locks into place. • Paper mismatch The paper size specified in the printer properties does not match the paper you are loading. Load the required size paper.
