Affinity Service Adapting the Phone for Digit Dialing Adapting your phone to your voice for digit dialing is easy. The phone provides voice prompts and screen displays to guide you through the recording process. Tips on Adapting Digits ⅷ Adapt digits in a quiet place. ⅷ Make sure you wait for the beep before starting to speak. ⅷ Speak clearly, and say each digit distinctly. ⅷ If you make a mistake while recording a sequence of digits, or if there is an unexpected noise that spoils the recording, rerecord that sequence. ⅷ Only adapt digits if you are regularly having problems with digit dialing. Once you adapt, digit dialing will not work as well for other people using your phone. (You can always reset digit adaptation to its original state, as described below.) To adapt the phone to your voice for Digit Dialing: 1. Open the flip and press and hold . TALK Note: You can also access Voice Kit by selecting Menu > Voice Kit > Voice Service. 2. At the "Say a command" voice prompt, select Settings ( ) > Digit Dialing > Adapt Digits.The Adapt Digits description appears in the display. 3. Select OK. 4.
