Connecting GX30 to Your PC You can use the following functions by connecting the GX30 to your PC using an infrared port or USB port*: • GSM/GPRS modem • Handset Manager for GX30 * Requires an optional USB data cable XN-1DC30 for USB port connection. System Requirements Operating System: Windows® 98*, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000**, Windows® XP * Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows® 98 with Internet Explorer 5.01 or later **Service Pack 3 Interface: Infrared port or USB port CD-ROM drive GSM/GPRS Modem You can use GX30 as a GSM/GPRS modem to access the Internet from your PC. To use the modem function via the Infrared connection, see "Using the Infrared Function (For Modem)" on page 171 and turn the modem function on.
