The Grand Tour Web Camera LED Web Camera Microphone Display screen Power button Touch Pad Touch Pad control buttons The Web Camera LED glows when the Web Camera is working. Web Camera is a device that allows you to record video or take photographs with your computer. You can use it for video chatting or video conferencing using a communication tool such as Windows Live Messenger. TOSHIBA Web Camera Application will help you to add various video effects to your video or photograph. Enables the transmission of video and use of video chat via the internet using specialized applications. Ensure that you remove the protective plastic film that covers the Web Camera before using it. A built-in microphone allows you to import and record sounds for your application - please refer to the Sound system section in Chapter 4, Operating Basics for more information. Please be aware that, when the computer is operating on the AC adaptor, the image displayed on the internal screen will be somewhat brighter than when it operates on battery power. This difference in brightness levels is intended to save power when operating on batteries. For more information on the computer's display, please refer to the Display Controller section in Appendix B. Press this button to turn the computer's power on and off. The power button is disabled while the display panel is closed. The Touch Pad mouse control device located in the center of the palm rest is used to control the movement of the on-screen pointer. For more information, please refer to the Using the Touch Pad section in Chapter 4, Operating Basics.
