Operating Basics ■ Never allow metal objects, such as screws, staples and paper clips, to enter the computer. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit, which can cause computer damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury. ■ Do not touch the connectors on the SIM card. Debris on the connector may cause access problems. Disabling or enabling wireless devices Fn + F8: This hot key enables and disables the wireless devices installed in your computer. The wireless modes are: ■ Enable all Devices: Enables the Wi-Fi®, BluetoothTM and Wireless WAN modules. ■ Disable all Devices: Disables the Wi-Fi®, BluetoothTM and Wireless WAN modules. ■ Enable or Disable Wi-Fi® : Enables or disables just the Wi-Fi® module. ■ Enable or Disable BluetoothTM: Enables or disables just the BluetoothTM module. ■ Enable or Disable Wireless WAN: Enables or disables just the Wireless WAN module. Disabling or enabling wireless devices
Fn + F8
: This hot key enables and disables the wireless devices installed in
your computer.
The wireless modes are:
■
Enable all Devices: Enables the Wi-Fi
®
, BluetoothTM and Wireless
WAN modules.
■
Disable all Devices: Disables the Wi-Fi
®
, BluetoothTM and Wireless
WAN modules.
■
Enable or Disable Wi-Fi
®
: Enables or disables just the Wi-Fi
®
module.

Enable or Disable BluetoothTM: Enables or disables just the
BluetoothTM module.

Enable or Disable Wireless WAN: Enables or disables just the Wireless
WAN module.
