HW Setup & BIOS Setup Ending the BIOS Setup Program Halfway The configuration settings can be terminated halfway without saving any of the changes made by following the steps detailed below: 1. Press the ESC key - the Exit without saving? (Y/N) prompt to be displayed at the bottom of the screen. 2. Press the Y key - the BIOS setup application will exit and the computer will automatically restart. Supervisor Password This setting, which is displayed on the first page of the setup screen, Allows you to register a Supervisor Password of the computer. Not Registered Supervisor Password has not been registered (Default). Registered Supervisor Password has been registered. The User Password and Supervisor Password configured in BIOS SETUP can also be changed or deleted using the TOSHIBA Password Utility. When unable to perform the following operations, use the TOSHIBA Password Utility to change the configuration or delete the Supervisor Password. ■ Configuration changes in the BIOS Setup Program ■ Configuration changes in the HW Setup utility ■ Selection of the startup device during computer recovery Core Multi - Processing The Core Multi-Processing sets the CPU operating mode. Ending the BIOS Setup Program Halfway
The configuration settings can be terminated halfway without saving any of
the changes made by following the steps detailed below:
1.
Press the
