Pasting a Block After you have used the Cut or Copy option, move the cursor to the position where you want the block of text to be pasted. Select the Paste icon from the EDIT menu and the last block of text you defined will be pasted to the selected location. Tools Spell Check To check the spelling of a word, move the cursor to the beginning of the word and select Spell Check from the TOOLS menu. If the word does not appear in the Spell Checker, Spell Check will give you a list of possible words for reference. To replace a word, click on one of the words suggested by Spell Check. Press the Esc key to return to the document. Symbols Select Symbols from the TOOLS menu to display a menu of characters and symbols. Use the direction keys to choose a symbol and press the ENTER key or the left mouse button to confirm. Press the Esc key to return to the document. Font Regular Define a block of text and select Regular from the FONT menu. The font of the text will be changed to Regular. Bold Define a block of text and select Bold from the FONT menu. The font of the text will be changed to Bold. Italic Define a block of text and select Italic from the FONT menu. The font of the text will be changed to Italic. Clip Art Picture Select Picture from the CLIP ART menu to view a list of pictures. Press the Up/ Down arrow keys or click the Up/Down icon to choose a picture, and then click the Confirm icon to confirm. The picture will be inserted into the document. 23

Pasting a Block

Clip Art
Picture
Select Picture
from the CLIP ART menu to view a list of pictures. Press the Up/
Down arrow keys or click the Up/Down icon to choose a picture, and then click
the Confirm icon to confirm. The picture will be inserted into the document.
